As you may have seen in my recent posts, I simply can't stop talking about why NOW is the time to buy.  Have I convinced you yet?  If not, here are some top reasons why owning a home is awesome, period.

1.  It's an excellent investment, not only personal but financial.  It's long term and with appreciation can help you build wealth over time.  It's important to not look at a mortgage as a regular monthly expense but as an investment that will help you in the future.

2.  Studies have shown that owning a home can create a sense of community as well as family stability with higher high school graduate rates and lower crime rates.  Owning a home allows you to live how you want and create your own piece of america giving you a sense of achievement and independence.

3.  Fixed rate mortgages, with these mortgages and at these rates you can budget for the rest of your life without worrying if they may rise.  More than ever, in many cases, owning a home can be cheaper than renting!
