Hello Again,

Everyone is scrambling to take advantage of the all time low mortgage rates and low priced housing.  However, because of this, buying a home can be more stressful and hectic than ever!  Here are a few tips to help keep you calm, cool and collected.

First, be sure to work with a realtor that you trust and have faith in.  If you can't count on your realtor and are always trying to get a hold of them, then their not the one for you.  Having a reliable and knowledgeable agent can bring on a ton of relief when you're feeling overwhelmed.

Secondly, don't beat yourself up over what could've been.  The real estate market is always changing and you may get some offers declined.  If you miss the home of your dreams, don't sweat it, you'll find another!

Thirdly, ask around and get opinions but don't get engulfed in what everyone else thinks, do what you think!  Many of your friends and family will have their own opinions but they aren't the ones buying the house and you know what you want, don't forget that otherwise you may end up buying a house to please everyone else but yourself.

Lastly, plan ahead, time is of the essence and in most cases you'll view many homes throughout your home buying process.  But that is just the beginning.  After getting an offer accepted, you will need to hire an home inspector and movers among other important items when buying.  So do yourself a favor and try to plan ahead to keep things rolling smoothly.
